Outdoor workout on the go:
Perfect workout for a quick sweat. I try and do a few of these workouts per week outside to mix things up. Great especially if you don’t have time to make it to the gym. Below is an example of a circuit where I pick 3 exercises to do for a set of 3:
- Spiderman pushup with a plank (bring knee to elbow) – 10 reps on each side alternating
- Curl to Shoulder Press – 10 reps on each side
- Front squat – 15 reps
I try and do as much as I can outside in backyard, patio, or park. In addition getting into gym a few times during the week for yoga and weight training.
Currently I am starting my day with a warm up circuit to elevate heart rate. I have been using a lot of kettlebell, jump rope, weighted ropes, and resistance bands. Most of my workouts are highly elevated heart rates in interval sets.
