Flavor with purpose… This started years ago with me needing to increase my amino acids with the urge to grow through adolescence. My childhood doctor said that I would not grow as big as my older brother without the raw materials that I needed. The good news is that Protein does more than help you grow; it keeps your brain function alert, assists with healthy nervous system, metabolism, and immune function just to name a few bi-products.
This turned into a never-ending mission of research and development in the kitchen. The following are a few of my favorite simple meal and snack ideas that are natural with low sugar. But big flavor.. Try them out and let me know what you think.
Main ingredient to provide flavor, consistency and nutritional value
Protein plays a role in every healthy human cell. Proteins are made up of organic compounds called amino acids and are essential nutrients you can’t live without. Whenever the body is growing, repairing or replacing tissue, protein is involved. Proteins are found in your skin, bones, muscle and all your organ tissue. In addition, they are used to produce hormones, enzymes and hemoglobin that carry oxygen in the blood
Protein assists with:
- Regulating blood sugar
- Immune function
- Supporting growth and development
